The book contains hundreds of entries, each describing a single human being, his or her profession, age, looks, standing with the Dhorn empire, crimes, and all other sorts of information. The records are sorted by date. Briefly scanning through them, I notice several entries at the end which draw my attention, as they contain the names of Master Nathan and Chella and one of the cooks. It appears that they will be brought to a place called "The Island of Prisoners". I should bring this book to Alfons at once as proof!

The Clerk's Book was a plot item in Part One v1.30 and earlier that contained a variety of information on the people of Betancuria, including their age, appearance, and crimes. The book was kept by Richard Mennes, a Dhorn record keeper who lived at 2, Westside. It was the primary target of the Raid on Mennes house quest, handed out by Alfons Fryar following the Dhorn raid on the Bear Pit, in order to obtain information on the whereabouts of Master Nathan and other family members. The book was located in a desk in the cellar.
