This armor is made of black metal chains. It does not look like it was dyed, rather that it's the natural color of the material used. There's also the disturbing fact that the armor seems to suck in the light of the surrounding area...

The chainmail is found in a locked chest on the caverns level of the Temple of Hyath.

Note: The hyathchainmail item is used as a blueprint for the Hyath Chainmail. The attributes are the same, but the armor has a slightly different appearance.
