The shadow can be found in the sanctum in the Temple of Hyath. He appears when the Princess inspects the alter in the inner chamber of the sanctum. Following a brief and mostly benign conversation, the shadow gives the Princess a ring and then disappears.
| Spoiler: If the Princess keeps the ring, she will soon discover that the spirit is able to watch and communicate with her using it. The shadow tells the Princess she can summon him by performing a ritual. If the ritual is performed, the shadow's true identity is learned. |
